dj vadims solo drum tracks grooved and immediately took me in a totally different direction from the original mix.

when brad stanfield released his people lets stop the war stems, i had just started mixing, so had to throw those in the mix. and man did it click!

and then snowflake blessed the track with a searing vocal performance, and a funky organ sampling on the handjive.

what came out of it all is a lo-fi rock anthem dedicated to the reluctant soldier.
