The first thing I actually had was that slidey little lick that plays right at the beginning. The chord progression came from playing off that lick, as did the bass riff.

There’s a couple things about the mix that I’d have changed if I’d had just a bit more time, but that’s how the game is played, so it is what it is.

But I do like the general arrangement, the pieces all fit really tightly together, and that doesn’t always happen.
