I did my best to remaster this tune, which mostly consisted of adjusting volume levels for the individual stems, which is only natural. I also played around with the stereo field to see if I could add more clarity to the tracks (and to better showcase the featured artists), I rather like the results. Also, fixed a lot of clipping, which I hadn’t noticed the first time around.
Ironically, and it kinda pisses me off, my laptop for some reason no longer recognises my speakers or headphone jack, so I’m stuck with bluetooth headphones. So, my laughingly so-called “studio monitor” is pooched for the time being *sigh.
More new info below. No stems, unfortunately, because I have no remembrance whatsoever how I came by the “new” loops, except they must be at least 20 years old (random downloads, or maybe from the old Acid Planet), and I don’t want to accidently destroy someone else’s copyright (and get in deep poodoo as a result).

Can’t figure out the genre but it was a hell of a ride!
Cast in no particular order:
Kara Square - Bass, Vocals
Apoxode - epiano, Bass, Sax, Drums, Strings
Fort Minor - Drums, Strings
Other parts played by members of a different cast, or something like that… Actually, pretty much everything else on this track are totally random loops from an old cd my wife found in the junk drawer, I didn’t even remember existed, I figured it was a backup from an old computer that crashed hard on me a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. So the theory goes, at any rate. None of them were labeled…. They looked like this:
- Guitar (guitar 01, etc…)
- Sexophone (why???)
- Synthetic thing
- weird shaker thing
- Flute 22
- SONY BONUS LOOP 06 (synth)
- wobasss (a wobbly bass synth)
- kick, snare, openhh
- Tuba loop
- Strangled strings (they sound normal to me…)
I can only speculate, because my meds that keep me healthy and more or less functioning also make my memory like an Etch-a-Sketch, one shake of my head and the screen goes blank…
Fort Minor’s small part is from their tune track “Remember the Name” ( http://ccmixter.org/fortmin... ) - I’ve been sitting on the stems forever, apparently, and forgot I had them until recently.
