I wanted to give Ciggiburns’ vocal sample a haunting, dark fantasy twist.

Added strings, subtle mallets and rumbling, bird chirping and an ethereal echo, along with some vocal tweaks to the opening verse of Ciggiburns’ raw “Blackbird” vocals.

“Blackbird, sing into the fading light
Here in the dusk, dividing day and night
Each note so true and clear
As one by one the silent stars appear”
